Firstmark Foundations Awarded Foundations for Globe Life Field, Texas Ranger’s Field in Arlington, TX
Fort Worth-based Firstmark Foundations (formally CMG Construction) was selected by Manhattan Construction Group to construct drilled pier foundations for Globe Life Field in Arlington, new home of the Texas Rangers.
Fort Worth, TX. – Firstmark Foundations, today announced that the company will construct the foundations for structures included in Texas Live, an upscale entertainment district in Arlington, TX.
When completed, Texas Live will encompass 200,000 square feet of restaurants, retail and entertainment, alongside a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, a 300-room convention hotel, and convention space, and Globe Life Field – the new home of the Texas Rangers baseball team.
Manhattan Construction Group, a Tulsa, OK based firm acting as the General Contractor for the Texas Live development, notified Firstmark Foundations of the awarded contract. As of the first week of November, 2017, FirstMark crews have been on onsite, constructing a network of drilled pier concrete foundations that will support the $1.1 billion, 42,000 seat ballpark. The construction is set to complete in 2020.
